The 2019 Social is cancelled.
We have made the difficult decision to adjust our fundraising strategy and cancel the event, replacing it with other fundraising initiatives.
While we heard a lot of people talking about The Social, the ticket sales did not reflect this. We truly appreciate all the donations made to the silent auction by members of the Clinton community and will ensure these items will be used to raise funds for the Schoolyard Improvement Project in an upcoming raffle draw, as well as online and in-person silent auctions.
If you have purchased tickets and would like a refund, would like your tickets converted to a donation (no tax receipt), or have any questions or concerns about this event cancellation, please contact us via email.
We are $9,000 away from our $20,000 fundraising target for this project. You can see our preliminary plans for the Schoolyard Improvement Project here. As a reminder, the funds raised this year, combined with the funds raised last year and contributions from the TDSB, will be used toward the first major renovation of the schoolyard since the late 1980’s. If you would like to make a donation to the project you can do so below.
Our students deserve a safe, beautiful, functional and fun schoolyard and we’re hopeful that together we can make that happen.
The Social is an adults-only night for parents, guardians, and school staff to have fun and socialize together while fundraising for the Schoolyard Improvement Project.
Thank you to all the parents, staff and friends who joined us for Clinton's 2nd Parent Social 2018. On a snowy Friday night in February, the community came together for a night of dancing, drinks and fun. Click here to see photos.
Together, we achieved our goal of raising $10,000 for the Schoolyard Improvement Project! We're thrilled with the results! Those funds, along with funding from the TDSB, are the start of a multi-phase renovation of the outdoor space surrounding the school.
