Also, the Art Room coordinator is looking for the following art supplies:
Glue sticks! Many glue sticks!
card stock paper
clean styrofoam containers (only non allergy related foods)
We are looking for more parent volunteers who can assist Amanda in the Art Room. Please contact Christine at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested. And thank you to those who have already volunteered!

Public Engagement: EQAO Testing
In December, the Enhancing Equity Task Force shared a report that provided a number of recommendations for how to support student achievement and well-being through improving equity within our system.
Our team has now reviewed that report and I want to share with you our response and proposed directions to move our system forward to enhance our support for each and every student in the TDSB.
The Ministry of Education is holding public consultation on EQAO testing in Ontario.
School Statement of Needs
Thanks to all the respondents who took the time to complete the survey and share your thoughts on how to enhance our school. See a summary of the results here.
Pizza Party Winners
Every year the School Council completes a School Statement of Need (SSON). The SSON has two functions - it is a record of the main priorities of the parent community/school and it outlines the parent community's priorities.
The Wish List
To determine which class sold the most tickets and won the pizza party, the number of raffle tickets sold for each room was added up and then divided amongst the number of children in the class, making it fair across the board, no matter the size of class.
The results were fantastic! So fantastic that there are 2 winning classes! Congratulations to...
Following on the heels of an amazing Fall Fair, one of the School Council’s primary fundraisers, comes a question we ask parents and teachers to help us answer every year. How can our school community benefit most from the proceeds of our fundraising?
